Many studies have shown that beets can help the body’s ability to absorb oxygen. Beets can also be in assistants fighting against high blood pressure and gastric ulcers. It can also help with cleansing the gut, liver, and gall bladder of toxins.
- Recipe for this smoothie (2 glasses)
- 300 ml fresh pressed apple juice
- 1 small beet. Raw
- 200g blueberries, frozen
- 120g blackberries, frozen
- Sweetener to taste
Rinse, peel and chop the beet into small pieces. Blend it with apple juice until the ingredients are even and smooth. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend it again. Sweeten to taste.
